Wilson’s report - Thursday, May 6

I have more news about how my health is advancing. Thanks to God I have more strength in my legs every day and I rest every night like a baby. The swelling in my head is decreasing daily and you can see the stitches from the surgery. My neurosurgeon told me they would disappear on their own. My blood pressure was 120/60 today and that is excellent and my blood sugar was also low. As they are reducing the steroids, my sugar level is becoming more normal. In another 5 days I will not be taking as many medicines, but I need to lose another 20 or 25 pounds. Today my general surgeon who is supervising me and found that have already lost 20 pounds so in a few months you will be seeing a thin Wilson (ha ha ha). I am very happy for all the phone calls that I get during the day, for the brethren close by who are close by, and for those who are making plans to visit me. There is nothing that gives me as much joy as seeing you and giving you a big hug (abrazo).

I am getting my appetite back and yesterday some friends brought me some “Pollo Loco” (grilled chicken) – something serious. It is a miracle for me to be able to eat well and taste the food. I haven’t lost my sense of taste and I enjoy my food even though I need to be on a diet and lose some more weight. For those who are coming from Monterrey please bring me some BeLight de zandia (watermelon) or mango. This will be your passport to get in to see me (ha ha ha).

Thank you for your love and prayers, you can call me whenever you wish – the house phone number is 956-583-8821 and my cell phone is 956-533-2632.

A HUG ACROSS THE DISTANCE AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU. I have the radio on the air every day. To hear the radio you need to go to www.wilsoncampoverde.com/RADIO/

Soon I will be able to tell you what is happening with regard to me recovery in the coming days.
