Recuperation

Recuperation:
I thank God for each one of you and your prayers. Thanks also, to Joy, my beloved wife, who helped me through everything, she is the best nurse, and also my favorite one!! For my children who can relax somewhat now as their father is getting healthier. I can now WALK WITHOUT USING A WALKER, and the doctor has taken me off almost all my medications, all I’m taking is one to keep me from having seizures. I will continue to see my doctors until they release me, right now they continue to do tests/checkups to make sure none of my internal organs have been damaged. Thanks be to God that so far they haven’t found any problems. Both my blood pressure and my blood sugar levels are good. My body is returning to normal, as I have stopped taking the steroids and other very strong medications.
During these days Tim and Scott McManigle, very dear friends of mine and colleagues in missions are visiting the Rio Grande Valley. Wednesday I was able to meet with them for study, along with Oscar (the pastor of a church in Donna) and the leaders of his church, both in the morning and evening.
I hope the doctors will soon allow me to travel, and so be able to see all of you and give you a big hug (abrazo). If you call (956) 533-2632 don’t be surprised if Lazarus Campoverde answers, that’s me!! All that I need now is that they listen and obey the Lord who said: “Loose him and let him go.” (Ha ha ha).
